# "Only sell this product as a subscription" setting disabled, what to do?

In case staff members or collaborators for your store cannot change the "Only sell this product as a subscription" setting since it's greyed out / disabled their accounts probably don't have sufficient permissions.

To be able to edit (enable or disable) the mentioned setting staff members and collaborators require permissions for **Products (view)** and **Orders**(**view** and **manage order information**).
