# Can I add a "one time setup fee" to the subscription?

While there is no feature to add a one-time setup fee to the subscription rules, you could just set the “subscription discount” to a “fixed price” and set up larger setup price. Then, you could use the “Automatic discount modification” to change the subscription discount to a lower price after the initial order.
