# Can I change the currency of my existing subscriptions?

If a customer's subscription is using a specific currency, that means that they have completed the initial subscription purchase with that currency. Unfortunately, currency is tied to the initial order, so it cannot be changed later on. If you would like for your subscriptions to use a different currency, the customer would have to cancel their current subscription and purchase a new one or you would have to manually recreate the subscriptions for them.
