# Can I manually create a subscription for my customer?

You can manually create an auto-charging subscription for a customer, only if that customer already has an auto-charging subscription on your store.

Otherwise, you should still be able to manually create a “Recurring invoice subscription” for your customer, however, that subscription won't charge your customer automatically.
