# Can I use the Compare-at price when applying the subscription discount?

Unfortunately the Compare-at price cannot be used when calculating discounts. The compare at price was created only for visual effect and cannot be used as the actual price. However, we do have a setting that allows you to display your Compare-at price as if it is your actual product price. But keep in mind that the discount you set within the subscription rules will still be calculated based on your regular “Price”.
