# I have migrated subscriptions from Stripe into Seal, but charges are still processed in Stripe. Why?

When you migrate subscriptions from Stripe into Shopify, Shopify will still process payments through Stripe. However, when the customers update their payment method, then Shopify will move the payment method into Shopify Payments and the next charge will be processed through Shopify Payments.
