# Is Seal Subscriptions compatible with Hydrogen stores?

Our app is compatible with Shopify official themes and Shopify 3rd party themes. It can also work with completely custom designs that utilize Shopify Hydrogen ([https://hydrogen.shopify.dev/](https://hydrogen.shopify.dev/)).

Though for the Hydrogen site version, you'd need to create an integration through our api for your store, as the code most likely won't work by default, since you are building a custom theme.

You'd need to make sure that you can add the selling\_plan property to cart and that your store has a subscription widget (if you use it on subscriptions products), as our app cannot work without it otherwise.
