# Is there an option to remove items from a subscription for only one renewal cycle?

There are multiple ways to remove item from a subscription for only one renewal cycle:

1.) You can remove the item from the subscription and then re-add it back to the subscription after the subscription is renewed.

2.) You can set up a product swap in Seal Subscriptions > Automations > Product swaps which will remove the item from a subscription AND then also set another product swap, which will add the item back to the subscription after a specific renewal.
