How do I upgrade to newer version of customer portal extension?

Since the older version of customer portal still uses old API's and components and in order to be always up-to-date with the newest versions, we released a brand new customer portal extension that uses newest versions. Don't worry, everything still works and looks the same. Follow this simple guide, in order to upgrade your extension to a new extension.

This is only relevant to those who still use the older version of customer portal extension ([Old version] Subscriptions List Page in theme editor). 

It is very simple to upgrade to a new extension, simply follow these steps:
 

  1. Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Checkout → Customize

 

2. On the left side of the theme editor, click the “Apps” icon

 

 

3. Click on “Added”. 

 

4. If you are still using an older version of Seal Subscriptions customer portal, you will see it in this list. Click on it.

 

 

 

5. Click on the 3 dots and click on “Remove”.

 

 

6. Under apps section, click back to “All” and find Seal Subscriptions. You will see a “Customer portal page”. Click the plus button next to it.

 

7. Click “Accounts”

 

8. Click on the “Save” button. You now have a correct extension installed in your store.

 

9. It is also recommended that you add this new customer portal to main menu, so your customers can access it. Simply click on the “Add to menu” button next to a customer portal page extension.

 

 

 

10. That's it! You have now successfully migrated to a newer version of a customer portal page :)
