My renewal failed with error message "Failed to create order"

This error is coming from Shopify API and is received when our Seal Subscriptions system tries to charge your customer through the Shopify API.
This means that when the app tried to renew the subscription, Shopify encountered some kind of an internal issue and couldn't create an order in your shop. 

This can happen due to different reasons. And here is what you can do to try and resolve this:

  • If you have subscription's delivery set to “local delivery” or “local pickup” then try to set it to normal “shipping” and retry the charge.
  • If the subscription has a discount code code on it and this discount code has expired, try to remove it and retry the charge.
